Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

An interesting game for ARBA (3-1) which hosted in San Jose 4th ranked U Costa Rica (0-4). Second ranked ARBA had an easy win 83-53. ARBA forced 22 U Costa Rica turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by U Costa Rica helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Amaurys Ripool (196-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. International Carlos Pereira (170-98) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds for U Costa Rica. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 3-1 record having just three points less than leader Escazu. U Costa Rica at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. ARBA are again looking forward to face bottom-ranked U Costa Rica (#4) in the next round. U Costa Rica will play against Grecia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
An interesting game for Escazu (5-0) which hosted in San Jose 3rd ranked Grecia (1-4). Top-ranked Escazu had an easy win 95-66. Worth to mention a great performance of American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Andres Umana who added 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Escazu's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international Marco Chacon (192-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Undefeated Escazu have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Grecia at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Escazu's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in San Jose to the arena ARBA.
