28-year old point guard Georgio Milligan (187-PG-90) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Escazu and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Escazu in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Grecia (#3, 1-4) with 29-point margin 95-66. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Escazu to consolidate first place in the Costa Rican league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Escazu already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Milligan had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Escazu's top player in his first season with the team. Franklin & Marshall College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Milligan is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.4ppg. Milligan is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 3.6apg) and averages solid 2.4spg and 55.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Amaurys Ripool (196-F-86) of league's second-best ARBA. He is naturalized Dominican Rep. forward in his 3rd season at ARBA. In the last game Ripool recorded impressive double-double of 12 points and 19 rebounds. Of course he led ARBA to another comfortable win outscoring U Costa Rica (#4, 0-4) 83-53. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. ARBA consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Ripool is one of the most experienced players at ARBA and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#2). He also registered 16.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Escazu's star - center Andres Umana (204-C-82). Umana scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of Escazu, helping his team with a 95-66 easy win against #3 ranked Grecia. Escazu started extremely well this Second Stage. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game. Umana turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Umana has a very solid season. In 5 games in Costa Rica he scored 9.0ppg.

8. Jose Chacon (PF-92) of Grecia - 11 points and 10 rebounds
9. Carlos Quesada (198-C-85) of Escazu - 4 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Alonso Sanchez (174-PG-85) of Escazu - 12 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
