Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Escazu (5-1) in San Jose on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked ARBA (4-1) 58-53. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Escazu. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The former international center Jeffney Anderson (208-83, college: Southern) stepped up and scored 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and American guard Dijon Farr (201-91, college: Ark.-Fort Smith) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. ARBA have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Escazu. Escazu at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Grecia. Fourth ranked U Costa Rica (1-4) saved a 1-point derby victory on the road edging 3rd placed Grecia (1-5) 84-83 in the game for the third place. The former international Jose Solano (189-91) nailed 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Jose Palma accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. U Costa Rica's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International Marco Chacon (192-96) came up with 31 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for Grecia in the defeat. U Costa Rica left bottom position moving up to third place. It was Grecia's third loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.

Grecia - U Costa Rica 83-84

U Costa Rica's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International Marco Chacon (192-96) came up with 31 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and the former international swingman Jerson Harris (196-88) added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Grecia in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. U Costa Rica left bottom position moving up to third place. It was Grecia's third loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.
