Santo Domingo - Coopenae 53-63

Coopenae upset Santo Domingo to sweep the series. Strangely Santo Domingo outrebounded Coopenae 57-44 including 42 on the defensive glass. The former international Paula Mora (169-97) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Ana Matamoros (190-93) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Coopenae players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Jennifer Sanchez (178-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Mariane Villalobos produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Heredia - Coronado 58-43

Heredia held off Coronado to force the decider. Center Ariana Mora (181-3) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds. Point guard Maria Cervantes (160-1) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Laura Castro (179-0) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Zeida Zorilla added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Coronado.
