UAM signs Laura Castro, ex Coronado

UAM (D1) signed 20-year old Costa Rican international forward Laura Castro (179cm). The last time (19-20) she played at Coronado in Costa Rican National League.
She has been also a member of Costa Rican international program for some years. Castro has regularly played for Costa Rican senior team since 2017 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2016.
She represented Costa Rica at the Centrobasket U17 in Aguada (Puerto Rico) four years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 5 games: 7.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0apg, Blocks-3 (1.4bpg), FGP: 30.4%, FT: 65.2%.
