LSB Round 7: ARBA loses to Metropoli in the biggest upset of the week

The most shocking disappointment of round 7 in the LSB was a road defeat of 4th placed ARBA (3-4) to seventh ranked Metropoli (2-4) 80-69. Metropoli moved-up to fifth place. ARBA at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Metropoli are looking forward to face higher ranked Limon Sh. (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ARBA will play against Abogados and is hoping to win this game.
LSB top team - Escazu (6-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Roswell (2-5) 73-62. Undefeated Escazu have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Roswell lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Grecia. Escazu will play against league's second-placed PFC in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Roswell will play against Grecia (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked PFC (6-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Abogados (1-6). PFC managed to secure a 8-point victory 83-75 on Sunday. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for PFC. Newly promoted PFC maintains second place with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader Escazu. Loser Abogados stay at the bottom position with six games lost. PFC will meet league's leader Escazu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Abogados will play against ARBA (#4) in San Jose and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 7 Limon Sh. won against Grecia on the opponent's court 78-71.
