LSB Round 13 (Regular Season): No surprise as #1 Abogados defeat Metropoli

LSB top team - Abogados (10-1) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat eighth ranked Metropoli (4-8) in San Jose 82-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Metropoli. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. Metropoli at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Limon Sh.. Abogados are looking forward to face Jaguars (#4) in the next round. Metropoli will play against ARBA and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Puntarenas (5-6) played at the court of fifth ranked Jaguars (6-6). Jaguars managed to secure a 7-point victory 89-82. Jaguars moved-up to fourth place. Puntarenas at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Jaguars will play against league's leader Abogados in San Jose in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Puntarenas will play at home against Grecia (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Third ranked ARBA (7-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Limon Sh. (4-8) by 26 points 91-65, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. ARBA have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 7-4 record having just three points less than leader Abogados. Limon Sh. lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Metropoli. ARBA will meet Metropoli (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Limon Sh. will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 13 bottom-ranked Roswell was destroyed by Grecia on the opponent's court 85-66.

Roswell lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Grecia will meet higher ranked Puntarenas (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roswell's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from San Jose Escazu.

ARBA - Limon Sh. 91-65
