Ciego de Avila outplayed Tigres de Camaguey 77-53 in crucial Game Seven of the Superior league Finals. It is the sixth title for Ciego de Avila as they did it also in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Yudniel Perez (189-G-84) was the leading scorer in victory with 22 points. William Granda (189-SF-85) and Yasser Rodriguez (187-PG-88) helped their team with 12 and 9 points respectively. In the loosing squad, Yorman Polas (192-G/F-85) delivered 22 pts. Ciego de Avila took control on their rivals from the very beginning and never looked back. The hosts made 22-13 lead in the first quarter and jumped to 42-21 until the halftime. They had no troubles to keep the comfortable lead for rest of the game. Despite this defeat, Yordanis Jaca (196-F/C-83) of Camaguey was named MVP of the Finals. Joan Luis Haiti (200-C-82) was named Superior league Player of the Year. Ciego de Avila was the regular season champion with 21-7 record.
