Reynaldo Garcia agreed terms with Okayama

Okayama Try Hoop (B3 League) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 36-year-old Cuban international 187cm guard Reynaldo Garcia for the 2026-27 season. He has played for the last six years at Saga Ballooners in the B1 League. In 28 games, he recorded very impressive stats: 15.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.9spg (in the top 2) last season. The B3 League will be a better match for him, and he can expect to see more playing time. He has been regularly called up to the Cuban Senior National Team since 2009.
Garcia, a very experienced player, has played for teams in Argentina (Gimnasia, Sionista, San Martin, and Estudiantes Concordia), Mexico (Lenadores, Fuerza Regia, and Mantarrayas), Ecuador (Universidad Tecnologica Equinoccial, Mavort, ComuniKT, and Iccan), and Cuba (Capitalinos).
Among many awards, he won the Japanese B League D2 championship title in 2023. Garcia was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Guard of the Year back in 2023. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Okayama.
