Liga Superior newcomer Sancti Spiritus landed 27-year old Cuban international forward Francy Ochoa (185-90). She played in the summer at Union Florida in Argentinian Superliga. In 18 games she averaged 10.1ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.1spg. Ochoa helped them to make it to the semifinals.
