Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Villa Clara (13-8) in Santa Clara on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by seventh ranked Guantanamo (8-13) 73-39. Guantanamo maintains seventh place with 8-13 record. Villa Clara at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost.
Very significant was Ciego's (#3) 69-64 road victory against 5th ranked Capitalinos. Ciego (12-9) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Camaguey and Santiago. Capitalinos at the other side keep the fifth position with ten games lost.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Tigres (12-9) against fourth ranked Santiago (12-9) on Friday night. Visiting Tigres were crushed by Santiago in Santiago 77-45. Santiago moved-up to second place, which they share with Camaguey and Ciego de Avila. Tigres lost their third game in a row.
The game in Rio was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Guerreros (10-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Pinar (6-15). Guerreros managed to secure a 7-point victory 66-59. The victory was the third consecutive win for Guerreros. They maintain sixth place with 10-11 record. Defending champion Pinar stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.



Capitalinos - Ciego de Avila 64-69

Very significant was Ciego's (#3) 69-64 road victory against 5th ranked Capitalinos. Ciego (12-9) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Villa Clara, Camaguey claim latest victories - 3 days ago
Villa Clara edged Matanzas 81-61 in the latest game at the Liga Superior de Baloncesto Masculino 2019. They improved to a 3-1 record, while Matanzas fell at 5-2. Villa Clara dominated the whole game and won all the quarters of it. Camaguey edged Capitalinos de la Habana 76-68. Keiler Cala (195-F-94) stepped up with 21 points and Yordanis Jaca (196-F-83) notched 14. Lisvan Valdes (196-F-88) replied with 21 points.   [read more]
