Villa Clara celebrated LSB title. They swept the championship series versus Ciego de Avila. Villa Clara recorded an 86:77 victory in Game 4 to be crowned the champions. Osvaldo Perez delivered 23 points to pace the winners. Ciego de Avila grabbed a 17:15 lead after ten minutes. But Villa Clara responded with a 27:16 run in the second term to surge ahead. Ciego de Avila narrowed the gap at 5 points heading into the fourth period. But Villa Clara sank 25 points in the final term to triumph in the League. Neslier Abreu (187-G-93) produced 20 points for the champions. Yaser Rodriguez (187-PG-88) responded with 17 points for Ciego de Avila.

Villa Clara clinched Liga Superior de Baloncesto title as they beat Artemisa 3-1 in the Final series. Villa Clara closed the series with a 95-92 win. Andy Bofill top-scored for the winners with 34 points and Neslier Abreu (187-G-93) netted 26. Yoel Cubillas (204-C-94) followed them with 17 points in the winning effort.
