Halcones Santiago de Cuba successfully started 2023 season posting five straight wins. In the latest game they edged Bufalos 81-72. Esteban Martinez (192-F-1987) stepped up with 18 points and Amauri Bueno netted 15. William Granda (189-SG-1985) replied with 15 points in the losing effort.
Capitalinos meanwhile edged Artemisa 71-52. Hector Martinto (197-F-1994) led the way with 16 points for the winners.
