Toros - Huracanes 79-84 Bottom-ranked Toros is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked Huracanes (4-3) 84-79 on Tuesday evening. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Huracanes. They moved-up to fourth place. Toros lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Gladiadores. Huracanes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Toros will play again against Huracanes (#4) and look forward to get finally their first victory. Lobos - Ciego de Avila 79-78 The most exciting game of round 7 in the LSB took place in Santa Clara. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Ciego (3-4) to third ranked Lobos (6-1) 79-78 on Tuesday evening. Lobos have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Capitalinos. Ciego lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Lobos is again looking forward to face Ciego (#5) in Avila in the next round. Ciego will have a break next round. Capitalinos - Spiritus 87-67 No shocking result in a game when second ranked Capitalinos (6-1) crushed 6th ranked Spiritus (2-5) in La Habana 87-67 on Tuesday. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Capitalinos. They maintain second place with 6-1 record behind leader Halcones, which they share with Lobos. Spiritus lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Capitalinos will again meet at home Spiritus (#6) in the next round. Spiritus will have a break next round. Gladiadores - Halcones 69-77 LSB top team - Halcones (7-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Gladiadores (0-7) 77-69. Halcones have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Gladiadores at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Toros. Halcones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gladiadores will play again at home against the league's leader Halcones (#1) and hope to get finally their first victory. |
