2023 ALBA Games - Venezuela U23 advances to the Finals beating Cuba, 60-57

Venezuela's U23 National Team (2-0) defeated Cuba (0-1), 60-57, to advance to the Finals of the 2023 ALBA Games played at Naciones Unidas Park in Caracas, Venezuela.

The team coached by Ronald Guillen (agency: Pro Sports ) made adjustments after a pretty tight first half (34-34) and enjoyed a great match by Kender Urbina (176-PG-2004), who finished up with 17 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds, followed by Yeferson Guerra (192-G-2003, agency: Pro Sports) with 15 points and 5 steals and Wilkerman Gomez (190-G-2001) with 13 points and 5 steals.

For Cuba, Joan Gutierrez scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds and Luis Bueno (180-PG-1999) netted 11 coming off the bench.

Venezuela U23 will wait for the winner between Cuba and Saint Kitts to know who they'll be facing for the Gold Medal in the adult Men's Basketball competition.
