Polas-Bartolo re-signs at Ludwigsburg

Yorman Polas-Bartolo

MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (BBL) confirmed in their roster experienced 37-year old Cuban-German international small forward Yorman Polas-Bartolo (191cm-88kg-1985) for new 2023-24 season. Polas-Bartolo has played there for the last three seasons. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 40 BBL games he had 10.7ppg, 4.5rpg (#4 in the league), 2.1apg and 1.1spg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Polas-Bartolo also played 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 9.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg. He has been regularly called to Cuban Senior National Team since 2009.
Polas-Bartolo has played previously professionally in Germany (46ers, Telekom Baskets, Hakro Merlins, Skyliners and Muenchen Bsk) and Cuba (Camaguey and Tigres). He was voted to Eurobasket.com German 2.Bundesliga Pro A All-Defensive Team back in 2014 and 2015.
Polas-Bartolo is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Ludwigsburg.
