Murcia tabs Howard Sant-Roos

Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) inked 32-year old Cuban 201cm guard Howard Sant-Roos, agency: Octagon Europe for upcoming season. Sant-Roos played most recently at Casademont Zaragoza. In 34 Liga Endesa games in Spain he averaged 10.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.0apg and 1.4spg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He won Czech Republic League championship title in 2016 and 2017. Sant-Roos was selected to Eurobasket.com Czech Republic League All-Imports Team back in 2016 and 2017.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Panathinaikos in Greek GBL where in 32 games he had 7.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.5apg and 1.6spg (in top 4) in that year. He helped them to win the Supercup and make to league final. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 All-Defensive Team. Sant-Roos also played 31 games in Euroleague where he recorded 7.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg in that year.
He is a very experienced player. Sant-Roos has played also professionally in Germany (Braunschweig and SG Braunschweig), Italy (Brianza Casa), Russia (PBC CSKA Moscow), Turkey (Dacka), Greece (AEK Athens) and Czech Republic (Nymburk). He won Czech Republic League championship title in 2016 and 2017. Sant-Roos was selected to Eurobasket.com Czech Republic League All-Imports Team back in 2016 and 2017.
