Jasiel Rivero (ex Valencia) to sign at M.Tel-Aviv

Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv (Winner League) reportedly agreed terms with 29-year old Cuban international 206cm power forward Jasiel Rivero, agency: Pro Sports for new season. Rivero has played for the last two years at Valencia Basket in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 25 games he averaged 11.7ppg and 4.1rpg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. He also played 24 games in Euroleague where he had 9.4ppg and 3.5rpg.
Rivero represented Cuba at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador (El Salvador) this year.
He is a very experienced player. Rivero has played also professionally in Argentina (Boca and Estudiantes Concordia), Uruguay (Tabare) and Cuba (Capitalinos). He won Basketball League championship title in 2020 and 2021.
Among many awards he was selected Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Center of the Year back in 2019.
