Benfica signs Isabela Quevedo

Sport Lisboa Benfica (Liga Feminina) signed 19-year old Cuban international power forward Isabela Quevedo (188cm-2003). Quevedo played last season at CP Natacao Sabseg Seguros. In 22 Liga Feminina games in Portugal she had 13.5ppg, 12.1rpg (#2 in the league) and 1.7spg. She helped them to make it to the Portuguese Cup Semifinals. 2022-23 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention.
Quevedo also represented Cuba at the FIBA Centrobasket Women's Championship in Mexico last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: Score-3(13.0ppg), Reb-1(8.6rpg), 2.2apg, 2.0spg, FGP: 53.6%, FT: 62.5%.
