Grodno welcomes back Hernandez-Zinenko

Darol Hernandez-Zinenko

BK Grodno-93 (Premier League) has signed Darol Hernandez-Zinenko, a 34-year-old Cuban forward standing at 207cm. This marks his return to Grodno, as he has previously played for the team. Hernandez-Zinenko's most recent stint was with IMP Alvarado in the Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro.
During the previous season, he primarily played for Regatas in the Argentinian La Liga. In 19 games, he had an average of 4.0 points per game, 3.3 rpg, and 1.3 apg. Prior to that, he was a part of BC Minsk.
He's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Argentina, Mexico (Lenadores), Belarus (Borisfen and BGU Minsk), Cuba (Capitalinos and Capitalinos), and Ecuador (Universidad Tecnologica Equinoc. Quito, Quevedo, and Iccan). In 2023, his team emerged as the champions of the Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro Regular Season.
In 2018, he received the Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian National League Honorable Mention award.
