Yankiel Moreno joins Chiusi

Yankiel Moreno

Umana San Giobbe Chiusi (Serie B Nazionale) has agreed to terms with experienced 35-year-old double-passport holder Cuban guard Yankiel Moreno (187cm-84kg-1990, agency: Interperformances) for the new 2025-26 season. He played last season at Tecnoswitch Ruvo di Puglia. In 47 Serie B Nazionale games, he had 6.2ppg, 3.0rpg, and 2.8apg. He helped them win the Serie B Nazionale Table1 title despite ending the regular season in second place. For the previous six seasons (2018-24), he played at another Italian team Tramec Cento (Serie A).
Moreno was a member of the Italian U18 National Team in 2008.
He has spent his entire career in Italy playing for six other teams: Rimini Crabs, Ferrara, Imola ACosta, Brescia, Roseto, and Vado Ligure.
