Jasiel Rivero (ex M.Tel-Aviv) agreed terms with Crvena zvezda

KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) strengthened their roster with the addition of 31-year-old Cuban international 206cm center Jasiel Rivero for the upcoming season. He has played for the last two years at M.Tel-Aviv in the Israeli Winner League. In 10 games, he recorded 9.3ppg, 4.4rpg, and 1.2apg last season, helping them to win the cup. Rivero also played 20 games in the Euroleague, where he averaged 10.2ppg, 4.4rpg, and 1.3apg.
He represented Cuba at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, El Salvador, 2 years ago.
Rivero is a very experienced player. He has played in Argentina (Boca and Estudiantes Concordia), Spain (Valencia and Longevida San Pablo Burgos), Uruguay (Tabare), and Cuba (Capitalinos).
Rivero won the Israeli League championship title in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention in 2024.
