Cuba - Argentina 68-80

Argentina claimed an 80–68 victory over Cuba in their 2027 World Cup Americas Qualifier clash, building an early lead and maintaining control throughout the game. Argentina set the tone with a strong 21–13 opening quarter and continued to dictate the pace with a steady 20-point second period, taking an eight-point advantage into halftime. Cuba showed resilience in the third and fourth quarters, scoring 17 and 19 points respectively, but Argentina’s consistent offense - highlighted by another 20-point third quarter - kept them safely ahead. With both teams matching 19 points in the final frame, Argentina sealed a composed and well-managed 12-point win.
Gonzalo Corbalan (193-G/F-2002, college: LCU) led the winners with 19 points and Francisco Caffaro (216-C-2000, college: Santa Clara) posted 18. Karel Guzman (192-G/F-1995) ended up with 22 points in defeat.
