Northern Starz take Game 1, Aaliyah Prince records triple-double

Northern Starz defeat Lady Maggnificos in their first game of the best of 3 Semi-Finals series. Lady Maggnificos started out determined to take the win, outscoring Northern Starz in the 1st and 2nd quarter. At the end of the first half the scores were 33-19 with Lady Maggnificos leading by 14 points. The second half belonged to the Northern Starz as they dominated the 3rd and 4th quarters. After scoring only 19 points in the first half they would go on to score 21 points in the 3rd quarter and 24 in the 4th quarter on their way to a 10 point victory. Lady Maggnificos were unable to keep up, only scoring 14 points in the 3rd quarter and 6 in the 4th. Final scores Northern Starz 64, Lady Maggnificos 54.
