Dominique Toussaint agreed terms with Gran Canaria

Spar Gran Canaria (LF Endesa) signed 26-year-old USA-Dominican 175cm guard Dominique Toussaint (college: Virginia) for the upcoming season. She is not a newcomer in the Spanish League, as she was the second-best scorer at Embutidos Pajariel Bembibre PDM last season. In 26 LF Endesa games in Spain, she recorded 10.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.1spg. For the two previous seasons (2021-23), she played for another Spanish team, Joventut (LF Challenge).
She was a member of the USA Under 18 National Team in 2016.
Toussaint has also played professionally in Germany (Freiburg).
Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Honorable Mention in 2022.
She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball. Toussaint also played for High School for one year.
