Jeff Allen joins Cupes

Cupes de los Pepines (Santiago League) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American power forward Jeff Allen (201cm-104kg-1987, college: Virginia Tech) for new 2022 season. Allen played last summer at Caneros (LNB). He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 10 LNB games he had 12.7ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1apg. Santiago League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Allen helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. He ended the last season at Kaposvari in Hungarian A Division where in 6 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.7ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.8spg. But the most of that year he spent at Apollon in Cypriot OPAP Basket League. In 16 games he was league's second best scorer with remarkable 21.3ppg and averaged 13.3rpg (leader !!!), 3.3apg, 1.6spg and 1.6bpg.
Allen is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Allen has played previously professionally also in China (Hebei), France (Olympique Antibes), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Beer Sheva, Hapoel Afula and Hapoel Haifa) and Lithuania (Siauliai).
He graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2011 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
