The most exciting game of round 11 in the LNB took place in Santiago. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Indios (6-6) to first ranked Metros (8-5) 100-98 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Indios. Metros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Juan Guerrero (203-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) chipped in 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American point guard Eddy Polanco (193-1994, college: SE Louisiana, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Metros maintains first place with 8-5 record. Indios at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Metros are looking forward to face Marineros (#6) in Puerto Plata in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Indios will play at home against Reales and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

American forward Sydney Curry (203-2000, college: GCU) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for Marineros. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Caneros moved-up to second place. Marineros at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Soles and Titanes. Caneros will play against bottom-ranked Leones (#8) in Santo Domingo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Marineros will play at home against the league's leader Metros (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Santo Domingo between Leones and Titanes. Eighth ranked Leones (5-6) got a very close home victory over 4th placed Titanes (6-7). Leones managed to escape with a 3-point win 87-84 on Monday evening. It was a great evening for Trahson Burrell who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Leones' coach Eulis Baez used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Richard Bautista responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. Leones moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Reales. Defending champion Titanes keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Marineros and Soles. Leones will meet at home league's second-placed Caneros in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Titanes will play against Soles in Santo Domingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last two games of round 11 Reales were defeated by Soles in Santo Domingo 101-96. Caneros were beaten by Indios at home 71-89.
