Regional Champions!!!
Sameji, after loosing the last two games, wich enable
CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago to send the series to a seventh game, and
trailing by ten points in the first half, came from behind to win the
25th Santiago Regional Tournament with a 88-79 win over
CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago.

In the All Star game for the XXV Edition of
the Santiago Tourneo de Baloncesto...Rogers Washington (201-F-77, college:

won the Slam Dunk Crown with a repeat of the famous Vince Carter dunk in
which he put his entire arm into the rim!

Jack Michael Martinez and Galo Rivero
In the game itself, the team form the north of the city featuring Amaury
Filion and Marlon Martinez triumphed in a 100-89 game.

6, La Tribu de Quisqueya won the 2005 edition of the Torneo de
Baloncesto Superior "Copa Central Romana".
Omar Solano (-C) led Quisqueya with 29 pts and 10 rebs,
Andy Williams (195-G/F-80) added 23 and 15,
Andres Acosta scored 17 pts and
Juan Pablo Montas (198-F-85), named the Final Series MVP, ended the
game with 14 pts and 9 rebounds. Another time more,
Reggie Charles (203-C) has been the best in Chola, with 29 points,
and Jesus 'Bocota' Martinez (195-F-73) scored 29 points he too at the losing
side.
