KK Tamis Pancevo (KLS) strengthened their roster with the addition of Dominican Rep. 178cm point guard Albert Vargas (college: Monroe-College/12022">Monroe) for the 2026-27 season. He recently graduated from Monroe (NCAA). In 28 games last season, he averaged 7.5ppg, 2.3rpg, and 4.0apg. Vargas helped Monroe finish the regular season as the second-best team in NCAA1 and reach the league semifinals. In the previous 2024-25 season, he played for Owls in the U.S. semi-pro league NCAA2.
Vargas began his college career at Monroe College (JUCO) before transferring to Southern Connecticut State University (NCAA2).
As mentioned above, he is just out of college and it will be his third season in professional basketball.
