Bryan-Amaning
Soles de Santo Domingo (LNB) agreed terms with 27-year old British international forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-109kg-88, college: Washington). He is a dual citizen owning also Ghanian passport. Bryan-Amaning moved there from Soles in Mexican LNBP where he started the season. In 44 games he had very impressive stats: 18.9ppg, 8.9rpg, 2.1apg, 1.4spg and 1.4bpg this season. He helped them to win the league title. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Bryan-Amaning also played at EnBW Ludwigsburg (BBL) in German league that season. In 5 LNBP games he recorded 7.2ppg and 2.8rpg. The last season he played at SO Maritime Boulogne (ProB) in French league. In three games he recorded 13.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0bpg. The other team Bryan-Amaning played that season for was Olympique Antibes (ProA) in French league. In 24 games he recorded 10.9ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg. He contributed to his team winning the league title. Another team Bryan-Amaning played shortly was London Lions (BBL) in British league. In three games he recorded also remarkable stats: 20.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3apg and 2.3bpg.
The previous (12-13) season he played at Radnicki 1950 in Serbian league. In 23 Adriatic League games he recorded 8.2ppg and 3.6rpg in 2012-13 season. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Bryan-Amaning was voted All-Pac-10 Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2011 at his college time. Bryan-Amaning also represented United Kingdom at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 last year.
He has played also professionally in Turkey (Hacettepe).
Bryan-Amaning attended University of Washington until 2011 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
On Bryan-Amaning: A native of England with Ghana origins, who could become one of the next college ball stars. Now, he's 6'9" with a wingspan of 7'4" wide. Runs and rebounds well. He can play both the forward positions, because he's really athletic, with good post moves and is working to his outside threat.
