Reales de La Vega (LNB) landed 34-year old French-Ivorian power forward Herve Lamizana (208-98kg-81, college: Rutgers). He moved there from Trotamundos in Venezuelan LPB league where he started the season. Lamizana managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 15 LPB games he averaged 13.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.8bpg this season. This season he played at Yulon Luxgen (SBL) in Taiwanese league. In 13 LPB games he had very impressive stats: 21.0ppg, 9.5rpg, 3.2apg, 1.5spg and 3.4bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Lamizana also played at Halcones UV Xalapa (LNBP) in Mexican league that season. In 5 LPB games he had 9.6ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.6apg and 2.0bpg. The other team he played shortly was Al Ahli (Premier League) in Bahrain. In 5 LPB games he had 9.6ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.6apg. The last (13-14) season Lamizana played at Soles. In 19 games he had also remarkable stats: 15.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.5apg and 2.4bpg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to All-Dominican Rep. LNB Honorable Mention. The last (13-14) summer Lamizana played at Air21 Express (PBA) in Filipino league. In four games he had high stats: 20.0ppg, 12.0rpg, 3.0apg and 3.8bpg.
Among other achievements he received All-Asian Club Championships 1st Team award back in 2008. Lamizana represented France at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) two years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 10.4ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.4apg, Blocks-1 (2.4bpg), FGP: 42.1%, FT: 56.8%.
Lamizana is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in China (Sichuan Blue Whales and TianJin Steel), Israel, Japan (Hamamatsu Phoenix), Lebanon, Puerto Rico (Vaqueros and Indios), Turkey, Dominican Republic (Soles de Santo Domingo and Enriquillo) and Libya (Nasr).
