Devin Ebanks
An Nahl Sharjah (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American forward Devin Ebanks (206-98kg-89, college: W.Virginia). He played in the summer at Reales de La Vega in LNB league in Dominican Republic, but left. Ebanks managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In three LNB games he recorded 8.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0spg. He also played that season for Leones in BSN where in 20 games he was fourth best scorer with impressive 18.6ppg and had 5.7rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg.
In 2010 Ebanks was drafted by Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). The former West Virginia University standoutis in his seventh season in pro basketball.
Ebanks' team won Mexican LNBP Regular Season in 2015.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Ebanks' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in four different countries. Ebanks has played previously professionally in Israel (Bnei Hasharon), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros and Brujos), Mexico (Halcones Rojos) and D-League (Texas Legends, Northern Arizona Suns, Springfield A., Los Angeles D-Fenders and Grand Rapids Drive).
The scouts decsribe him following way: Has long arms, good ball handling, great timing for rebounds. Can score well in the paint but has limited range from outside. Plays with intensity and aggressiveness, he's effective at the defensive side, should add some beef to become a perfect PF.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Soles SD edged Leones SD in Santo Domingo 87-85.
