Obras Basket Buenos Aires (LigaA) added to their roster 28-year old American point guard Dion Dixon (190-89, college: Cincinnati, agency: Duran International). He played this summer at Indios de San Francisco in LNB league in Dominican Republic. In 7 games he recorded 5.6ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0spg. The last season Dixon played at U Universitario (LUB) in league where in three games he averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg. He also played for Al Ittihad (D1) in Libyan league. In 2013 (a year after he left the college) Dixon was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in fifth round (72nd overall).
He attended University of Cincinnati until 2012 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dixon's team made it to the Lebanese Cup final in 2016. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Import of the Year back in 2014.
