Cupes de los Pepines (Santiago League) inked 25-year old shooting guard Juan Miguel Suero (198-93). He played in the summer at La Villa in the La Vega League. This season Suero played at Ramat Gan (National League) in league where in 6 La Vega League games he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 9.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.5spg.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) last year. Suero's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 15.4ppg, Reb-5 (9.0rpg), Assists-5 (3.2apg), 1.4spg, FGP: 50.9%, 3PT: 10.0%, FT: 64.5%.
Suero is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Suero has played previously professionally in Spain (Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono), Venezuela (Gaiteros), Dominican Republic (Mauricio Baez, Sameji, Enriquillo, Pueblo Nuevo and Indios de San Francisco) and Colombia (Academia).
