Toynetta Johnson

Cibao-Valley-Dragons (TSF) added to their roster 31-year old American point guard Toynetta Johnson (172cm-1992, college: UWF). Johnson played last summer at Hidalgas in the LNBF. LNBF was a little too high level for her, where in four United Cup games she did not score anything and had only 20 rebounds, 21 assists, 7 steals and 3 blocks. TSF will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time. The last season she played at Tapatias in Mexican league. In four United Cup games she recorded 5.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 6.0apg and 2.0spg.

She has played previously professionally in Germany (Rheinland) and WUBA (GIE Matrix and Houston Lady Havok). Her team made it to the United Final Four in 2022. Johnson was voted to LatinBasket.com All-United Cup Honorable Mention in 2022.
She graduated from University of West Florida in 2014 and it will be her tenth season as a professional player.
