Leona - Panteras 75-73 Important game to mention about took place in . Leona saved a 2-point victory at home edging Panteras 75-73 in the fight for the third place. American forward Aaliyah Rice (175-1997, college: Montevallo, agency: Domantay Sports) stepped up and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Odalmis Diaz chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. Rice is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side forward Ruth Aracena responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Laurybel Geraldino scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Leona will play against Santiago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Panteras will play against Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
