Plasencia keeps Jimenez for another season

Hierros Diaz Extremadura Miralvalle Plasencia (LF2) re-signed 21-year-old Dominican Rep. 183cm forward Angela Jimenez for the new season. She played there last season. In 29 LF2 games, she averaged 6.4ppg, 7.6rpg, and 1.0spg. She helped them to end the regular season as the second-best team in the league.
Jimenez represented the Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games for Women in San Salvador (El Salvador) last year.
She has also played professionally for other Dominican Rep. teams like Calero and Constanza.
Despite her young age, she had an impressive career. Jimenez was voted the Latinbasket.com All-United Cup Rookie of the Year in 2021.
