Equipo Femenino Fenix (UNIDA) land point guard Maria Coronado for upcoming season. Coronado played there last season. In four United Cup games she recorded 15.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 5.5apg and 1.8spg in 2023 year. She also played for Santiago (TSF) where in 12 games she was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 19.3ppg and had 6.4rpg, 6.9apg (top 2) and 3.6spg (in top 2) in 2023 year. Coronado helped them to win the TSF title. Great season indeed as she was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic TSF Domestic Player of the Year, Finals MVP and Guard of the Year.

She has spent her entire career in Dominican Republic playing for three other teams: Plaza, Santiago Basket and Hidalgas.
