Jensen Caretti claims Dominican Rep. TSF Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Jensen Caretti (187-F/G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Equipo Femenino Immortals and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents TSF Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 27-year old swingman had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed Fenix (#3, 1-2) with 47-point margin 101-54. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Immortals to consolidate first place in the Dominican Rep. TSF. The season is still on an early stage, but Immortals already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Caretti turned to be Immortals' top player in her first season with the team. Ohio State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Caretti is in league's top in points (5th best: 12.7ppg) and averages solid 2.3bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American guard Sydni Tears (183-G) of Indias del Sur. Tears impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Indias was edged by Boom (2-1) 80-76. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Tears is a newcomer at Indias and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#1). She also registered 8.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Karma Jeremie (173-G-1996) of second-ranked Orlando Boom. Jeremie scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was a key player of Boom, leading her team to a 80-76 win against Indias (#5, 0-3). Orlando B. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Jeremie has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.5rpg (3rd best).
