Brittany Carter (6'0''-G-1993), 31-year old American guard from the Equipo Femenino Immortals, was honored as the Taco Bell Player of the Year at the Super LIGA Unida Femenina. She graduated from the Illinois nine years ago. Carter was also named to the First Team. She was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. The best players in the league are US college alumni. Just on the list of the top 10 best scorers we have 5 out of 10 players who had college careers.
Sydni Tears (6'0''-G), American guard from the Indias del Sur, earned the Rookie of the Year for the Super LIGA Unida Femenina. She is Talladega alumna from 2022. Tears has played for the Indias del Sur just for this one season but has already made a mark in the league. Unfortunately, the team still sits at a 0 to 3 record in the standings. Tears also earned a spot in the First Team.
Stephanie Ball (5'8''-G-1994), 30-year old American guard from the Orlando Boom, was voted to the First Team at the Super LIGA Unida Femenina. She managed to score 21 points per game while maintaining a 4 rebounds per game as well. The Orlando Boom team is tied for 2 to 2 in the league. She joined the Orlando Boom team just this season after playing for the Basket Loures for the 2023 to 24 season. Ball was also named a United Cup finalist for this season.
Karma Jeremie (5'9''-F/G-1996), American swingman from the Orlando Boom, was selected to the First Team of Super LIGA Unida Femenina. She is ex-Tampa from 2017. The 28 year old began playing for the Orlando Boom this season 7 years after graduation. She averages 11 points per game with over 7 rebounds on average. This has supported her team to maintain their 2 to 2 standing. Jeremie also had earned a spot as a United Cup Finalist for this season.
?Jensen Caretti (6'2''-F/G-1997), 27-year old American swingman from the Championship winning Equipo Femenino Immortals, was chosen to the First Team at the Super LIGA Unida Femenina. She is alumna of the Ohio State from 2020. Caretti is an astounding player playing pro ball for over 4 years since college. She had played for the Flint Lady Monarchs for 2 years before playing for the Uprise Fenix and then the Pioneers de Delicias in 2022. She had also played for the iSecure Swords Thunder for the 2023 to 24 season. Among many awards she had been named to the Latinbasket All-United Cup First team and Rising Star of the Year in 2024, as well as the player of the week for round 2.
