CD Universitario Concepcion (LNF) landed American 183cm guard Sydni Tears (college: Talladega). Tears played this summer at Indias in TSF league in Dominican Republic. In four United Cup games just recently she averaged impressive 21.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0bpg. The last summer she played at Fenix (also in United Cup) in Dominican Rep.

She has played also professionally in Finland (Catz Lappeenranta). Tears was voted to NAIA All-Americans Honorable Mention in 2021 and 2022.

She graduated from Talladega College in 2022 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball. Tears played for other colleges like: Life University, Johnson County Community College, Odessa College.
