Golden State Warriors (NBA) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 39-year old Dominican Rep. power forward Al Horford (6'9''-244lbs-1986, college: Florida) for season 2025-26. He has played for the last four years at Boston Celtics. In 71 NBA games he recorded 8.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.1apg last season. He helped them to win the Atlantic Division title (four times) (five times).
In 2007 he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks as #3 pick overall. The former University of Florida standout is in his 19th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Horford has spent his entire career in NBA playing for two other teams: Philadelphia 76ers and OKC Thunder.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at GS Warriors.
