Paul Harrison claims Dominican Rep. LDC Hoops Agents weekly honour

Experienced American Paul Harrison (206-PF-1989) had a great game in the last round for league's leader GIE Cibao Immortals and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 36-year old power forward had the game-high 20 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Immortals in his team's victory, helping them to crush Bonao (#5, 2-6) with 22-point margin 100-78. It allowed Immortals to consolidate first place in the Dominican Rep. LDC. Immortals have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Harrison had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Immortals' top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Rich Polanco (203-F-1997) of Puerto Plata de Realeza. Polanco impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Puerto Plata to edge slightly higher-ranked Santiago Max (#2, 5-4) by 2 points 92-90. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Puerto Plata consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Polanco is a newcomer at Puerto Plata and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 8.6rpg and 6.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Immortals' star - American Markise Davis (201-G/F-2000). Davis scored 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was another key player of GIE Cibao Immortals, helping his team with a 100-78 easy win against the lower-ranked Bonao (#5, 2-6). Immortals confirms their top position in the standings. Davis has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 7.2rpg (6th best) and assists with 3.3apg (4th best). He also has 1.7bpg and and 3PT: 40.6%.
