American Power forward Paul Harrison (206-PF-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked GIE Cibao Immortals, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 36-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Don Bosco (#8, 1-4) with 18-point margin 98-80. It allowed Immortals to consolidate first place in the Dominican Rep. LDC. Immortals have a solid 8-1 record. Harrison turned to be Immortals' top player in his first season with the team. Paul Harrison averages this season 20.3ppg, 10.3rpg and 5.5apg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Immortals' star - young Ameth Gil (191-SG-1988). Gil had a very good evening with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course GIE Cibao Immortals cruised to a 100-90 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked San Sebastian (#5, 3-1). Of course Immortals still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 8 matches. Gil is a newcomer at Immortals, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Immortals' star - forward Angel Rivas (198-F-1993). Rivas scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was another key player of GIE Cibao Immortals, helping his team with a 100-90 win against the lower-ranked San Sebastian (#5, 3-1). Immortals confirms their top position in the standings. Rivas has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.8ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 8.0rpg (3rd best).
