Greg Richardson signs at Panthers- December 14, 2025The Georgia Panthers signed 39-year-old Dominican Republic forward Greg Richardson. He played for the Austin Greeners this summer. Last season, he averaged 7.5ppg, 9.3rpg, and 1.5apg in four United Cup games.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in seven different countries playing on four different continents. Richardson is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, and North American leagues. He has played previously in the Dominican Republic (Immortals and Evolve Olimpica Lions), Japan (Chiba Seals), the United Kingdom (OxFit Bulldogs GB Sheffield), NBL-US (Atlanta L.), UBA (Houston H. and Oklahoma Outlaws), ABA (Tulsa T.), and Spain (Real). Richardson was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-United Cup Honorable Mention in 2025. He played in the final of the United Cup Superior in 2022. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at the Panthers. Richardson attended a camp at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
