Granada welcomes back Perez

Coviran Granada (Liga Endesa) signed 24-year-old Dominican Rep. 195cm swingman Jassel Perez. It marks his return to Coviran Granada, where he previously played. Perez began the season with Cantabria in Spanish Primera FEB, averaging 15.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.3apg, and 1.3spg in 9 games. He had also played for Coviran Granada earlier in the season.
Three years ago, the Mexico City Capitanes selected him as the second overall pick in the G-League draft.
Perez is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and North American leagues. Perez has played previously in Colombia (Cafeteros), Dominican Republic (CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago, CPN Pueblo Nuevo, Titanes, Pueblo Nuevo and Million), Venezuela (Spartans), Nicaragua (Real Esteli) and NBA G League (Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico). He was also selected to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic League All-Defensive Team in 2025.
Perez won the championship title in the Dominican Republic Santiago League in 2024.
