Albertson Pimentel, shooting guard from the Santiago Max, was named the Finals MVP at the Liga de Campeones. He received multiple other awards, was voted the Most Improved Player of the Year, and was selected to the First Team and Tournament Team. Pimentel's best performance made his team reach the final but they were defeated by the Immortals 100 to 101. He averaged almost 31 points and 6 assists per game in the league. Pimentel has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points on the year. His 50 points against the Immortals were the most he scored in the 2025 season. He won the Dominican Republic Santiago League championship title in 2024.
The standout forward Angel Rivas was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the championship-winning GIE Cibao Immortals. He collected multiple other honors, was chosen to the First Team and Tournament Team. With Rivas' excellent performance, the GIE Cibao Immortals achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 10 to 1 in the regular season. Rivas' excellent performance assisted his team in beating Santiago Max 101 to 100 in the final. He was previously honored as the Forward of the Year back in 2022, and named to the First Team back in 2022 and 2024 and Superior Second Team back in 2023. Rivas was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. He showcased his talent by ranking fourth in points per game with an average of over 19 and third in rebounds per game with an average of almost 9. Rivas has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 5 games on the year. His 24 points against Bonao were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
Franklyn Jaquez, 28-year old forward from the Bonao, earned the Defensive Player of the Year of Liga de Campeones. He also earned a spot in the First Team. Jaquez previously picked up the Superior Center of the Year, Superior Defensive Player of the Year and voted to the Superior First Team back in 2023. He received Player of the Week award in the league. Jaquez led the LDC in points per game with over 21 and rebounds per game with almost 11. He has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 12 games on the year. Jaquez's 27 points against LDC Ignite were the most he scored in the 2025 season. He won the Dominican Republic LDC Superior championship title in 2023.
Victor Torres, shooting guard from the Santiago Max, was selected to the First Team at the Liga de Campeones. He was also chosen to the Tournament Team. Torres' best performance made his team reach the final but they were defeated by the Immortals 100 to 101. He was previously named the Most Improved Player and earned a spot in the First Team last year. Torres orchestrated his way to the second spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of 21. He also had over 4 rebounds per game that season in the league. Torres has totalled 13 games of 20 or more points on the year. His 26 points against LDC Ignite were the most he scored in the 2025 season. He was selected as the Dominican Republic LDC All-Star Game in 2024.
Kelvin Pena, 45-year old Venezuelan shooting guard from the Puerto Plata, was voted to the First Team of Liga de Campeones. He graduated from the Southeastern years ago. Pena was also selected to the Tournament Team. He recorded over 16 points and 4 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Pena has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points on the year. His 20 points against LDC Ignite were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
