The standout shooting guard Ameth Gil earned the Finals MVP of the championship-winning GIE Cibao Immortals. He received multiple other awards, picked up the Lopez Cup Best Player and earned a spot in the First Team. Gil's excellent performance assisted his team in beating Tamboril 116 to 115 in the final. He was previously voted to the Second Team three times in the past, Player of the Year and First Team back in 2024. Gil showcased his talent by ranking fifth in points per game with an average of over 23. He also averaged over 5 rebounds per game in the league. Gil has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points on the year. His 44 points against Tamboril were the most he scored in the 2026 season. Among many awards he won the Dominican Republic LDC championship title in 2025. He was also selected as the Latinbasket All-Dominican Republic LDC Player of the Year in 2024. Gil was selected to the Latinbasket All-United Cup First Team in 2024. He was also selected to the Latinbasket United Cup All-Domestic Players Team as well as the All-United Cup Second Team back in 2022.
Brayan Rosado, 25-year old forward from the Escuadron Ponton, was named the Player of the Year at the Liga de Campeones. He collected multiple other honors, was voted the Defensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the First Team and Defensive Team. With Rosado's excellent performance, the Escuadron Ponton achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 7 to 1 in the regular season. Rosado's exceptional play earned him the fourth spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of 25 and second in rebounds per game, an average of over 9. He has totalled 10 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 2 games. Rosado registered double-doubles in 7 games during the event. His 44 points against LDC Ignite were the most he scored in the 2026 season.
Randy Santos, swingman from the Reales de La Vega, was selected as the Taco Bell Rookie of the Year for the Liga de Campeones. He was also chosen to the First Team. Santos was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. He conducted his way to the third position in averaging a commendable 25 points per game. Santos also had almost 8 rebounds per game that season in the league. His 35 points against the Immortals were the most he scored in the 2026 season.
Wilbert Carmona, swingman from the La Cancha, was honored as the Eastern Conference Player of the Year at the Liga de Campeones. He received multiple other awards, was named to the First Team and Defensive Team. Carmona helped Carmona's team have an undefeated season as La Cancha was not challenged in the league with a perfect 8 to 0 in the regular season. He recorded almost 22 points and over 6 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Carmona has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 2 games on the year. His 30 points against the Los Leneros were the most he scored in the 2026 season. Carmona's team made it to the Dominican Republic TBS Semifinals in 2023.
Juan Valenzuela, 30-year old swingman from the Tamboril, earned a spot in the First Team of Liga de Campeones. His best performance made his team reach the final but they lost against the Immortals 115 to 116. Valenzuela averaged over 7 rebounds per game in the league. He led the LDC in points per game with over 25. Valenzuela has totalled 9 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 2 games. His 36 points against the Immortals were the most he scored in the 2026 season. Among many awards he won the Dominican Republic LNB championship title in 2023. He was selected to the Latinbasket All-United Cup First Team between 2022 and 2023. Valenzuela was also selected to the Latinbasket United Cup Superior All-Domestic Players Team back in 2023. He was selected to the Latinbasket All-Dominican Republic LDC Second Team as well as the All-United Cup Superior Honorable Mention back in 2022.
