Naturalized Spanish Power forward Jhonatan Araujo (206-F/C-1996) had a great game in the last round for Titanes del Distrito Nacional, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Soles (#8, 1-3) 89-84. Titanes is placed at 7th position in Dominican Rep. LNB. Titanes is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Araujo had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Titanes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jhonatan Araujo has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 8.7rpg) and averages impressive 56.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Nigerian Emmanuel Omogbo (203-C/F-1995) of Marineros de Puerto Plata. Omogbo had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Marineros was edged by slightly lower-ranked Caneros (#6, 2-4) 90-86. Marineros managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Omogbo is one of the most experienced players at Marineros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Marineros' star - swingman Luis Feliz (190-G/F-2002). Feliz showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Feliz's great performance the Marineros de Puerto Plata lost 76-89 to the lower-ranked Soles (#8, 1-3). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Marineros ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Feliz could help Marineros to bring them higher in the standings. Feliz has a very solid season. In 5 games in Dominican Republic he scored 13.0ppg.
