The most exciting game of round 3 in the LNB took place in La Romana. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of Reales (10-10) to Caneros (11-9) 83-80 in the game for the third place. It was a good game for Yeison Colome (190-1996) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 assists. Serbian forward Lazar Lugic (208-1998, agency: Dagger Basket) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Bryce Baez (201, college: Edinboro) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for Reales. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caneros are looking forward to face Indios in San Francisco in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Reales will play at home against Metros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Metros (14-5) which played road game in Moca against Heroes (10-10). Metros managed to get a 6-point victory 92-86.
